List of things to do , that should keep me busy for at least one school term ...
- Go to Homepro , buy paint, brushes, rollers
- Go back home, paint the bathroom's ceiling and shelves

- hide telephone lines in those plastic tube thingys ( i've rearranged the living rooms furniture ) ... note to self , buy 6 more meters of those plastic tube thingys , find hacksaw...
- re-organize / fix / donate toys ... ( my housekeeper picks up toys , place them in plastic bags , and hides them in the storage room )
- buy 2nd hand locker , spray paint it , enjoy more paint fumes and storage room
- paint door frames
- sew curtains
- repot plants

okay, the little one is one of the two kids in her class that did marathon wailing at school ... she has such healthy lungs and productive tear glands ... on friday just ten steps into school, we heard the teachers at the pick up desk exclaimed, " they're here ! they're here ! " ... the little one has been standing there , asking them every 3 seconds , " is my mama/papa/sister here yet ? " ... today was supposed to be better than the previous 2 days ... she still won't take off her shoes and carries her school bag 7-11 ... she didn't tear off any of my hair when i passed her over to her teacher .... i didn't here her repeated screams " I WANT TO STAY WITH MAMA--AAAAA !!!! " while snooping behind the building ...
we should have send her to summer school ... why this didn't cross my mind at all, i wonder ? ... i was more concerned about finding constructive things to do with the big kid and we all thought the little one will do fine since she's accustomed to the school's environment ... well, we thought wrong !! ...

heard this financial advice on the radio , from acharn virak ( 97 fm ) ... to be financially secure , the ideal plan consists of having income generated from 4 different sources ... in case one fails , you still have 3 others to fall back into ... the first will be your monthly salary ... second, interest from savings / investments ... third , rent from property ... fourth, profits from own business/side job ...

we went to pick up the little one from school ... saw her in her teacher's arms , eyes squeezed shut, wailing her lungs out ... her teacher was , well, dissheveled with signs of arm muscle pain ... she told us sternly that we need to come 1/2 an hour early tomorrow ... how am i going to get her to go to school tomorrow ? ... she's already informed us that she's been to school and tomorrow she's staying home ... who wouldn't ? ... she have 2 grown-ups to order around, a sister to play with , and when her sweet tooth calls, she can charm the workers of some sugus ... must get her to focus on the fun things there and probably lure her with chocolate fudge cake at central after school ...
at last ! ... could finally log into my post page and it's almost 2 in the morning ... hence , have to log off right away ... just wanted to leave a post that tomorrow ( that means today ) will be the first day of school for the little one ...

our standard of living has risen several notches , ever since we discovered Foodland has a branch just 20 minutes from our house ... i love Foodland ... the veggies are packed just the right size for small families like us ... they come dry so they don't rot so fast even in the fridge ... we can find everything we need there , no need to drive to another place to find that last missing ingredient ... the husband's been having t-bone steaks , baked ribs with black beans ( tao si ), trying out different sausages and hams ... kids are having fun making pizza, and me very pleased cuz there is the ' Tok Lae Dee ' restaurant where i can sit at the counter and watch the kitchen action there ...
last time there , we got some mini chicken cocktail sausages ... on the way out, i glanced at the receipt , it saids : " LITTLE CHICKY COCK " ... XD ... see ? they've even got humour ... how can you not love Foodland ?

okay, i'll just have to blurt this out ... CALLING ALL SCHOOLS , i know your curriculum includes teaching your students good nutrition , the five food groups and all ... will you be so kind to set a good example of yourself and feed your students well ? ... today i watched a group of kindergarten kids munching down their field trip lunch or possibly, a very late milk break...( it was 11:30 am ) ... they were each passed a huge foam box ... inside was a sealed plastic cup of water, a box of milk , and a bag of Lay ... and this was the works of an international school ... they probably charged 50-100K per semester and they could only afford a 5 bht bag of chips for food ?? ... are sandwiches too hard to prepare ?? ... what about fresh fruits ? ... huh ? BANANAS ??? ... the sight just burns my eyes ... pissed me off the whole day ... do they need to hire a nutritionist to figure this out ? ... no, just someone with common sense ...
